Brightcom Group PAT up 163% in Q1
Brightcom Group, the adtech major, has put forward strong first quarter results for the financial year 2023. It has reported 162.66 per cent year-on-year (YOY) rise in profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 277.24 crore during April-June quarter (Q1) of FY 2022.

Hyderabad: Brightcom Group, the adtech major, has put forward strong first quarter results for the financial year 2023. It has reported 162.66 per cent year-on-year (YOY) rise in profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 277.24 crore during April-June quarter (Q1) of FY 2022. In the same quarter, the consolidated revenues rose 126.38 per cent YOY at Rs 1,480.61 crore.
The company's Return on Equity (ROE), on an annualised basis has nearly reached 20 per cent. Its ROE is unleveraged, because the group has zero debt on standalone and consolidated basis. It continues to focus on improving this key ratio. In addition, as guided earlier, it achieved operating free cash flow of approximately Rs 492 crore in the last two quarters. The company's consolidated tax rate across all geographies in this quarter was 28.29 per cent. Sequential growth in the number of new advertisers online remained the main driver of revenue. On the demand side, this quarter, the company added six new ad agencies, 14 new direct advertisers, and 12 new newspaper relationships for local news platform & Blocal exchange.
